Users didn't differentiate between web site and opac.

Use LibX, a firefox extension that can search the library if firefox is open (not necessarily open to library page)

nb:Firefox is the uni's browser of choice for students - it's on their enrolment dvd

Also has a link to Encore (Educational Network and Community for Open Resource Exchange)

  • from individual profile students can search library catalogue (in house developed widget)
